When my son became a teenager, I have to admit I was a bit intimidated by the idea of redecorating his bedroom. He had outgrown his childhood theme, and this presented a whole new design challenge.

While the room needed to be functional for studying and sleeping, I also wanted it to be a stylish space he would love spending time in.

It took a few tries to come up with a “formula” for creating this kind of room, but I have finally cracked the code, so today I wanted to share with you some of the best ideas for decorating a teen boy’s bedroom.
